STANDSTILL transfer foil is a revolutionary new method for transferring complex designs onto your clients—faster and more precisely than with conventional transfer paper. The transparent, flexible tattoo foil is perfect for easy positioning, even on difficult areas of the body such as elbows and knees, and can be repositioned without leaving any residue.
It produces high-resolution stencils that allow you to work layer by layer directly on the skin. Unlike traditional transfer paper, this foil is applied to the skin and then tattooed through. Since the foil is water-soluble, you should use ointment when tattooing and carefully dab off excess ink with a paper towel. The foil is compatible with inkjet printers.
The transfer foil is designed to work with STANDSTILL Stencil Adhesive Spray to give your stencil a secure and long-lasting hold without the often aggressive residues of conventional sprays. It is particularly useful for large, curved surfaces where slipping and smudging are common.

The STANDSTILL Transfer System is ideal for a variety of tattoo styles and techniques, including dotwork, geometric designs, illustrative work, cover-ups, tattoo extensions, and large-scale tattoos. It is also particularly suitable for difficult areas such as elbows, knees, and necks.
How to use it:
- Print your design using an inkjet printer.
- Spray a generous amount of STANDSTILL adhesive spray onto clean, dry skin and allow it to dry for a few seconds.
- Place the film on the skin, adjusting it if necessary.
- Activate the film by lightly spraying it with disinfectant spray from a distance. (A very fine spray nozzle is crucial!)
- Tattoo through the foil using ointment, carefully dab off excess ink, do not wipe.
- To remove: Moisten a paper towel with green soapy water and distilled water, place it on the foil for 5 seconds, then wipe off.
- STANDSTILL recommends not starting with pure black ink, but with a light to medium shade of black. You may need to increase the power by one or two volts to compensate for the foil. The brand recommends practicing with dotwork first and then moving on to lines.
